Richmond Hill has grown from a few hundred people in 1970 to a busy family town south of Savannah, with good schools, river access, and a lot of military families from Fort Stewart. That means a lot of garages working overtime as the gym, the shop, and the place where the boat gear lives.
Ask about our veterans discount when you call. Veterans deserve strong floors that last. We’ll come out, look at your slab, show you samples, and give you an all-in price.

A Little Richmond Hill History
Richmond Hill used to be called Ways Station. Then Henry Ford visited, liked it, and bought up tens of thousands of acres for a winter home on the Ogeechee River, on the site of the old Richmond Plantation. The town took the name Richmond Hill from his estate. Ford reportedly turned down the idea of naming it after himself.
Ford funded a kindergarten, a chapel, and other buildings along what’s now Ford Avenue. The kindergarten is now the Richmond Hill Historical Society museum. Not far away, Fort McAllister held off Union attacks from the river until Sherman’s troops took it from the land side in December 1864.
